Global President / Chief Executive Officer
Geof joined the Biblica team in August 2018 as President and CEO. Prior to this he served as Senior Vice President of Ministry Mobilisation at American Bible Society leading on global ministry strategies, including translation, trauma healing, and domestic Bible advocacy initiatives. He began his career with the global advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi before turning his attention to ministry, completing a Yale University master’s degree, and launching and directing two nonprofits for at-risk youth. Geof later served as director of marketing at Geneva Global, a leading philanthropic research and consulting firm.
Vice President for Europe and the Middle East
Mark joined Biblica in 2011 and serves in the role of Vice President of Biblica’s MENA-Eurasia region, leading our work across Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. His vision is to inspire Christians to use their God–given creativity to revolutionise the world for Jesus through sharing the Bible with those who have never encountered Jesus. Mark lives in the English Lake District with his wife Mags and children Charlie and Lydia.
Director of Fundraising – UK
Dan joined Biblica in 2019 as Director of Fundraising within the UK and is based in the South West of England. Dan has had a heart for God’s word from a young age, serving as an ordained Baptist Minister and church planter. His role involves sharing stories of our work to inspire ministry investors and helping to grow our income to further our work. He lives in the UK with his two daughters where he attends the Baptist Church in their hometown of Corsham, Wiltshire.
UK Partnerships Manager
Trevor joined the Biblica team in February 2016 and serves as our UK Partnerships Manager. Trevor’s role involves working with UK partners assisting them as they develop relevant formats of Biblica’s translations and he is also responsible for our Rising Generations programmes across Europe. Trevor is married to Katie and they have two daughters – Niamh and Anabeth, they live in Belfast, Northern Ireland and are members of Belfast City Vineyard.
Partnerships Manager – Europe & Central Asia
Oli joined Biblica in February 2016, having worked previously in the Christian publishing and music industries and works in the role of European Partnerships Manager. Oli’s role involves finding, serving and developing ministry partners as they carry the Bible to their communities. Oli lives with his wife and 2 children in the north of England where they serve their local church in worship, leadership & discipleship. He enjoys walking in the hills and has climbed nearly 100 of Scotland’s highest mountains.
Cathy joined Biblica in 2019 in the role of Project Manager. She previously served in a church planting role in the Philippines for nine years, alongside her husband Paul. Cathy’s role involves overseeing project reporting overseeing print projects, in collaboration with partners, printers and Biblica’s global publishing team. Cathy and Paul now live in Bangor, Northern Ireland with their 3 children and attend Scrabo Hall in Newtownards.
Regional Translation Project Manager
Daniel first connected with Biblica in 2000 when he was involved in the translation of the Old Testament into Romanian (NTR), rejoining Biblica in 2014 as a linguist on the NTR revision. In 2019 he started his current role as Regional Translation Project Manager for MENA/Eurasia, overseeing all of Biblica’s translation projects across this area.
Val joined the team in July 2016 in the role of Finance Manager. Originally from Northern Ireland, Val spent time working in Scotland and England having qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Val works alongside Nicola to handle all things finance. Val is enjoying now living in Portrush, Northern Ireland, close to the Giant’s Causeway. She enjoys using her regular commute to Belfast on the train to catch up on reading and sermons!
Nicola joined Biblica in June 2012 in the role of Finance Administrator, having worked previously in the insurance industry. Her role involves raising invoices, processing donations and making sure our suppliers are paid on time, as well as dealing with customer queries and general office administration. Nicola lives in Bangor with her husband Andy and daughters Aliyah and Sophia, and attends Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church.
Operations and Communications Manager
Catherine joined Biblica in March 2013, following previous roles serving with Interserve and Belfast Bible College. She works in the role of Operations and Communications Manager, which involves overseeing Operations and HR, and leading communications and marketing across the region. Catherine lives in Newtownards, Northern Ireland with her husband Bobby and Cocker Spaniel called Jake, and attends Scrabo Hall Church.
Communications & Administration Officer
Gary joined Biblica in October 2019 following a career in the Northern Ireland Civil Service and works in the role of Communications & Administration Officer, while also studying part-time at Cornhill, Belfast. Gary played dodgeball internationally, representing Northern Ireland! Gary’s role involves developing content for the website and overseeing social media channels. He is married to Alison, they have three children and attend Abbots Cross Presbyterian Church.
Joanne joined Biblica in January 2017. Her role as Team Administrator involves assisting with travel arrangements, meetings and with the daily running of the office.
Joanne originally from Dublin now lives in Carryduff. She is married to David and together they worship at Saintfield Road Presbyterian Church.
Team Administrator (Temporary)
Beki joined Biblica in 2021 as Team Administrator. She is from Colorado, but lives in Dundalk, Ireland with her husband Randy and dog Byron. Prior to working at Biblica, Beki had a long and varied career in administrative roles, events work, and as an independent singer/songwriter. She and her husband have lived in Ireland for four years and attend Dundalk Community Church where they are actively involved with the worship music team.
