While we are part of a wider Biblica family across the world, we are seeking to reach people with God’s Word throughout Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. In such a vast geographical area, with a melting pot of cultures, languages and religions, this is a huge task.
We work with churches and partner ministries across Europe to get Scripture resources into the hands of those who need them most.
The recent surge in immigration from the Middle East and North Africa into Europe, has caused huge challenges. Working with networks such as How Will they Hear and the Refugee Highway Partnership, we seek to make God’s Word available to those on the margins. Alongside this, Western Europe, which birthed Catholicism and the rise of the Protestant Church, has now become one of the world’s most secular regions. Although many adults might have some nominal connection to the church, many would not describe themselves as Christians.
Another major challenge is the ongoing volatility in many parts of the Middle East. However, in the midst of war and suffering, there continues to be an unprecedented demand for Scripture, particularly in digital form.
Join with us in praying that God’s Word would continue to transform and impact lives across the region, and for creativity to get the Bible and other resources to the people who need them most.
