Shook is an innovative new series about unexpected encounters with Scripture.

In our hyper-connected world, fewer and fewer people are connecting to God through His Word. Whether actively or passively, many of us seek wisdom and inspiration from our screens.

Even as emerging generations around the world ebb away from religious traditions, most look for meaning by scouring the internet and social media. Naturally, they gravitate to stories. Stories distill meaning, make sense of chaos, lead us to a larger truth. And while the Bible is often seen as a remnant of the past, those who dig into it often find profound, life-altering, compelling stories… endowed with meaning.

...endowed

with

meaning.

There is a profound need to bring the Bible to social media platforms. “The Greatest Story Ever Told” should live in the space where people search for stories, seeking insight into their most important, existential questions.

This pilot episode tells the story of Dr. Ard Louis, professor of Theoretical Physics at Oxford University. He speaks about how faith and science are complementary and how scripture shook him in his own life.

Watch below:

“The Son is the exact likeness of God, who can’t be seen. The Son is first, and he is over all creation. All things were created in him. He created everything in heaven and on earth. He created everything that can be seen and everything that can’t be seen. He created kings, powers, rulers and authorities. All things have been created by him and for him.”

Colossians 1:15-16
