20 Schemes Scotland

Making the Bible accessible, so that people across Europe can be transformed by Christ as they engage with His Word – this is our heart at Biblica, and it is our joy to partner with other organisations enabling them to provide Bibles across the work that they do.
We were overjoyed to partner with 20schemes, who bring the light of the Gospel to Scotland’s poorest, by providing them with hardback bibles for their Bible studies and to be used when their church is established.
We join them in believing that the biggest need today is spiritual. They work in areas throughout Scotland, spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ and their heart is for the church to move into these areas to provide love, support and to reach residents for the Gospel.
Paul McLoughlan (a church planter on the project), writes:
“I would just like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to Biblica, for receiving 100 pew Bibles. These Bible are being used most days in different settings at our church plant. They are being used in our midweek community Bible study by a mixture of believers and nonbelievers as we study Mark’s Gospel every week verse by verse. They are being used in our men’s community Bible study. Again, this is a mixture of believers and nonbelievers engaging with the Scriptures. These Bibles are also being used in one to one discipleship situations, where believers are helping each other live for Jesus every day. It’s also a great joy for me to see some nonbelievers pick up one of these pew Bibles when they are in our café waiting for their food. Once we launch as a church, they will also be used every Sunday in our gatherings. Please be assured that these Bibles are being well used. The Gospel is being proclaimed to the lost through these Bibles and believers are growing in the knowledge of their God and Saviour through them. Once again many thanks.”
What a wonderful story to share with you all today. Please pray for this organisation as they continue to work across the poorest areas of Scotland. May Jesus be made known!
